As a parent, finding ways to keep my child entertained and engaged can be a challenge. That’s why I love discovering new educational toys and activities to add to our collection. And, I recently came across two pins on Pinterest that have inspired me to step up my game. The first pin showcases a Mama Blogs Group Board, and it caught my eye with its vibrant image of a child playing with colorful blocks. After clicking through, I was amazed by the variety of resources available on this board. There are posts about sensory play, science experiments, and even some tips for encouraging reluctant readers. My favorite post so far is titled “25 Simple Activities for Preschoolers”. It provides a list of fun and easy activities that are perfect for little ones to try at home. I was particularly drawn to the idea of creating a “fish tank” out of a plastic bag, blue food coloring, and some googly eyes. My daughter loves anything involving water, so I know this will be a hit with her. The second pin I found is all about educational toys. It features a cheerful image of a child playing with wooden blocks, and after clicking through, I discovered a treasure trove of toys that I had never heard of before. From Montessori-inspired activities, to science kits, to musical instruments, there seemed to be something for every interest and age range. I was especially excited to see a section dedicated to outdoor play. We have a small backyard, so finding ways to keep my daughter active and engaged in nature is important to us. The “Sprout and Grow Window” caught my eye immediately. It allows kids to observe the growth of plants from seed to fruition, and the kit includes everything you need to get started. Overall, I am so grateful to have stumbled upon these two pins. They have given me so many new ideas for ways to entertain and educate my child, all while having fun together. I can’t wait to try out some of the activities and toys that I found, and I hope that others will find them helpful as well.
